Our art:lab offers residencies to artists from all disciplines and is committed to the individual support of every resident. Writers, artists, dramatists, film makers and composers from Europe and South Africa could apply for a residency at Jozi art:lab.
For a month every resident should either work on his own project or on a project of the art:lab.
African Writer's Residency ProgrammeThe African Writer's Residency offers a two month international working
stay at the Foundation to writers of contemporary African literature,
who are related to or engaging with contemporary themes and concerns of
Africa and the African Diaspora.

The Sylt Foundation calls all mid-career contemporary visual artists to apply for the two month South African Visual Artist's Residency. One residency will be awarded annually to a South African artist or a South African resident who have sustained a career profile of a minimum of seven to ten years in the contemporary visual sector.
